Applying for child support services

Individuals can apply for Title IV-D child support services, which include:

  • Location of the obligor
  • Establishment of paternity,
    child support, and medical support
  • Collection and monitoring
    of support payments
  • Income withholding
  • Enforcement of the order
  • Tax refund intercept
  • Lottery intercept
  • Suspension/denial of passport
  • Bank account levy
  • Judgment processing
  • Credit reporting
  • Review and adjustment of the order


 

There is a one-time $6 fee for full Title IV-D child support services. Additional information about applying for child support can be found by clicking here

You can apply for child support services using our online application. This process will allow you to complete the child support application and court forms electronically and submit them directly to the child support program. When your application is submitted through the online child support application process, all court filings will be initiated automatically and there will be no need to file through JEDS or the Family Court.


If you are unable to complete the online application process, you may use the links below to print the application and required court forms. The forms must be emailed using Judiciary Electronic Document Submission (JEDS) or mailed to the Family Division in the county in which you reside. Individuals can also apply for Non-Title IV-D monitoring only child support services. The services do not include the above enforcement methods, and are limited to the following:

 

  • Establishment of the support order
  • Collection and monitoring of payments
  • Monitoring of income withholding
 There is an annual $25 fee for Non-Title IV-D monitoring only services.
 
To apply for monitoring only services, complete the court forms linked below. The forms must be emailed using Judiciary Electronic Document Submission (JEDS) or mailed to the Family Division in the county in which you reside. Please click here for a listing of all Family Divisions by county.
